I was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after my husband was laid off.  We were paying for surgery and radiation treatments at a time when we could least afford it.  But, at a time when so many doors were closing, the Y's door remained open for us.  With financial assistance, we were able to stay as members. Exercise is necessary for us to ease stress, fight depression and help with the healing process.       -The Sawyer Family
